A hosted Web service allows companies to get a presence on the web without the expense of having to set up servers and the like in-house.

For the lump sum of $396.00 you can host your site on our high speed web servers (Either Apache and Microsoft IIS), use our extensive library of scripts.

Secure Shopping carts is available on the secure web serving option only.

PHP is also available on the Apache web server only.

Note this includes a dialup account for maintenance purposes only. It is not time limited but Cosmos will start charging an hourly rate after 2 hours total for the month has been used. non used time in the month will not be forwarded to the next month
Domain names will require periodic (yearly or every two years) renewal with the domain name authority. Cosmos includes the registration as part of the first years service fee above. Subsequent domain name renew payments is the responsibility of the owning company.

Step 2: The rules around picking a domain name are stringent but essentially if you pick a domain name that is some derivative or abbreviation of your company name then you should be okay.

Step 3: Send us an email 'connect@cosmos.net.au' with your company details, you will need

Contact person (or NIC handle)
Company address (or NIC handle)
Phone contact details
2 choices (1st/2nd preference for domain name)

If submitting your NIC handle, please check the contact and address details as the invoices for renews will be sent to that address.

If you are re-delegating (moving) your web domain from one ISP to Another, DON'T FORGET to have a backup of your site. Once the re-delegation is done, typing your old web site URL will send you to the blank site that Cosmos set up. It may still be possible to get your web pages via FTP access.

Domain Name Re-Delegation

Re-delegations of domains are FREE. If you chose to move your web site from another ISP to Cosmos, then we will not charge for the domain re-delegation. We do expect that your company will fall under the normal guidelines and practices that you can see in terms/conditions and acceptable usage policy.

WEB DESIGN

Cosmos Internet Services offers 3 flexible web design packages depending on your needs and requirements.

Single Page: This is the commonly accepted size site for a company or individual contact page. This includes a simple home (or start) page with details such as contact information and graphics either supplied by you or generated by the Cosmos Team.
Note: This single page scheme is charged at $80 per hour and Usually takes 1 hour to complete (depending on complexity).
5 Pages: This is the commonly accepted minimum size site for a small to medium sized company. This includes a home (or start) page, plus four pages of information and graphics either supplied by you or generated by the Cosmos Team.
10 Pages: This option is usually offered to medium companies which have many pages of information but is essentially the same as the 5 pages site above.
